FOLSOM, CA -- If you have a holiday office party coming up, you might be wondering what's appropriate to wear.
Jennifer Gorrell, with the Folsom Premium Outlets, appeared on Thursday's News10 Good Morning to offer some suggestions.
If you're on a tight budget, the one "must have" item is still the classic black dress. If the party is at the office, you can dress it up with a blazer or a cardigan and some simple jewelry. "One thing you don't want to do is compromise your professional image, Gorrell said.
She said the same black dress can be worn to parties away from the office. Gorrell suggested accessorizing with silver and gold jewelry, even adding animal prints so you're not lost in a sea of black dresses.
Gorrell said the goal is to maximize the little black dress and use accessories to create different holiday looks.
