FOLSOM, CA -- Two friends and parents of teen drivers decided to pool the information they've gleaned about driving safely and getting a license all in one place.
Kari Eide and Debbie Kenny started the website calteendriverguide.com as a resource for parents and teens, and it includes everything from the steps on how to get a license to what happens and what to do if you are in an accident.
They launched the website about nine months ago after brainstorming over dinner one night.
Kari's son Parker and Debbie's daughter Madi both use the website and give it thumbs up.
Debbie hopes it sparks dialogue between parents and teens about safe driving and prompts them to take the pledge not to text and drive.
