GREAT HANG UP: Calli Ann Murray was just two years old when she was hit and killed by a distracted driver while walking home from a Sonoma County park with her Mom.

The 19 year-old driver in the case, Kaitlyn Dunaway, who admitted to texting while driving, was sentenced to 120 days in jail. However, Dunaway served only five days in jail, with the remaining sentence carried under electric home confinement.

Murray's grandfather, Al Andres, is a passionate advocate for safe driving. He spoke from his home in Delaware about his latest efforts and the new public service announcement from the federal government about Calli's story.

Delaware received a federal grant to curb distracted driving and a similar effort called "Phone On One Hand Ticket In The Other" is coming to Sacramento late this year.
