Kristen Drew joined News10 in September 2011.
She came to News10 from the CBS affiliate in Louisville, KY, where she reported primarily on crime.
While in Louisville, Kristen was a volunteer at Kosair Children's Hospital. She also participated in Louisville's FBI Citizens' Academy, a program where community leaders experience firsthand how the FBI operates.
Kristen's first experience in California was during her time as an undergraduate at Loyola Marymount University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in History. She earned a Master of Science in Broadcast Journalism at Boston University.
Kristen started her journalism career in Waco, Texas. A New York native, she returned home for a year to report for the NBC affiliate in Syracuse, NY.
One of Kristen's most memorable stories was an interview with the late legendary anchorman Walter Cronkite during a sailing event on Martha's Vineyard.
